If you have tried to take pet pictures, you know how difficult it is. They usually don't want to pose but even if you finally catch a good moment, you very often still get a poor result. It is especially true for strictly indoors pets. There is seldom sufficient light in your house and you have to use flash that turns your pet's eyes into two light bulbs. This alone can ruin any potentially cute and wonderful picture of your pets.

You may encounter many other problems while taking indoor pet pictures. The most common of them: your picture is too dark or too light, colors are biased, contrast is too strong or too weak, image is blurred, there are unwanted details, mess in the background etc. Maybe it is OK with you but you can't put that kind of picture to your wall photo gallery, send it to other people and place it in your web site. There are a lot of breeders' web sites in the internet. Many of them have magnificent animals, but poor quality pictures disappoint visitors. Even when a picture is taken by a professional photographer, very often there is still room for improvement. Take a look at this beautiful cream and white cat. His picture shows the eyes very well but coat colors are almost lost. Returning colors to the cat's body and restoring the texture in some overexposed spots makes the picture look much better.
